Green Century operates as an R2v3 and ISO-certified recycling facility, ensuring top-notch standards for processing electronic waste (E-waste), Universal waste, Styrofoam, Stretch wrap, and solar panels.
While dropping off most electronic items is free of charge, there may be applicable fees for Universal waste, Styrofoam, and stretch wrap.
All electronic devices undergo processing according to the rigorous R2v3 and ISO standards. This includes verified data destruction and adherence to the highest material recovery protocols, surpassing both state and federal requirements. As a certified refurbish center, we prioritize reuse whenever possible.
Styrofoam is meticulously chopped and densified before being transformed into various consumer plastic goods such as picture frames, TV and computer cases. We charge $10 for a 45-gallon bag of Styrofoam, and for larger drop-offs, please contact us for pricing at 503-764-9963.
Universal waste is either recycled for material recovery or responsibly processed to dispose of chemicals, never ending up in hazardous waste landfills.
