Green Century Recycling has been contracted to provide environmentally sound and data secure processing of electronic devices for the Hillsboro School District.This page is to serve as a “best practice” instruction and to facilitate ease of use. We do not require that the material be sorted. However we do prefer grouping “like items” together when possible. Thanks GC staff

When possible we ask that you group "like items" together. We accept all electronics regardless of age or condition. We are also able to buy back IT assets. Please follow this link for a fairly comprehensive list of items we accept Please remove all ICLOUD locks, BIOS passwords and device management software when possible PIN LOCKS AND ADMIN USER PASSWORDS at the OS level are okay. Green Century facilities have the capability of board level refurbishing of your IT equipment helping you recoup value from retired electronics and IT equipment.
R2 Certification
Green Century is R2 Certified Recycling Partner. R2v3 certification is a voluntary sustainability standard that certifies responsible electronics processors.
