Public Drop offs and Residential pick ups are temporarily suspended

Hi Team,
We know this has been a very hard week for everyone. A lot of uncertainty and waiting to see what happens next. Concerns about money & bills are weighing heavy, but it’s significantly more important that we put our health and the health of our loved ones first!
As of today, Green Century will be closed to the public, both drop-offs and residential pickups.
Rest assured, this is just a temporary closure. We will be back in action as soon as it is safe to do so!
We will continue to monitor the information and guidance being provided by The State of Oregon and the Oregon Health Authority.
We are reassessing, on a daily basis, how best to get everyone back to work as soon as possible!
This is why is it is imperative that you do what you can to stay healthy! Please be diligent about practicing distancing from others and staying at home as much as possible for now.
We hope that you will use this time to reconnect w/ your families and take time out for yourselves. Get stuff done around the house, catch up on hobbies. We all work very hard and these things often get sidelined.
Some additional resources:
OHA (OR Health Authority). This is being updated daily. You can find guidance on what to do if you or someone you know if experiencing COVID19 symptoms. High fever and/or trouble breathing may require a trip to doctor or ER, but in many cases, doctors are being made available to consult over the phone or web, so that a trip to the doctor is not needed. The government is putting provisions in place to cover costs related to the virus, so please don’t hesitate to seek medical attention, if needed.
This seems like a pretty well-organized resource, but feel free to research information on your own too. New programs are expected to be put in place over the coming weeks.
We are going to get through this together! Stay safe & keep in touch!
